Megan's Memorial Day Balloon Launch

After Dirk's death, our search to find material to help Megan understand death and "where Daddy went"
resulted in acquiring some great books that Megan likes read to her.  The inspiration for Megan's "balloons to Daddy in heaven"
came from DADDY, UP AND DOWN by Lila Stenson and Anna Stenson.

It was a coincidence that when Megan wanted to send a balloon to Daddy, it was two days before Memorial Day. 
Most family and friends already had plans, so we scheduled the "memorial balloon launch" for the following weekend,
but we still went ahead and had a balloon for Megan to send up on Memorial Day. 

Both launches went perfectly! Everyone who came for the group launch wrote their own
personal messages to Dirk on their balloons. They all enjoyed this
unique way of remembering Dirk and suggested making it an annual event.
