DIRK

It was a miracle
when you came into this world,
your folks were so proud
they couldn’t wait to see how your life unfurled.

When you were a little older
and your friends walked by,
you would smile
and just say hi.

You always had
such good ideas always new,
and you were
very smart too.

It was amazing
how you could invent things,
even when you were very young
you could put together various things.

You were so special
to those you loved,
you cared for Wayne
with help from above.

Your daughter
was so special to you,
your love for her
was so true.

Your friends and family
will miss you from far and near,
we’ll always hold you
in our hearts so dear.
